Full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist

Description

W&K is seeking a full-time experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist (AR) to join the Accounting team. The position is full-time with great benefits.

Accounts Receivable

  • Reconcile homeowner accounts
  • Communicate with Board of Directors on the collection process
  • Request decisions from Board of Directors on collections and communicate that information to the owner
  • Prepare daily cash deposits and complete cash control sheet
  • Enter finalized cash receipts and update accounts receivable ledger by customer
  • Obtain and mail invoices/statements to customers
  • Process credit card payments
  • File check stubs and bank receipts
  • Research and process customer claims of invoice payment, charge backs, returns and bad checks
  • Answer and respond to all A/R inquiries and follow-up with customers
  • Reconcile the A/R GL accounts

Other

  •  Prepare internal documents for year-end audits/review and tax return
  • Miscellaneous data entry
  • Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Ability

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Detail orientation and time management skills
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills via email, phone, and face-to face interactions
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Work, and other accounting software packages
  • Experience in Association Software such as Jenark and Pilera is favorable

Requirements

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year college or University, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum 3-year Accounts Receivable experience is preferred

 

Physical demands and work environment: This position requires a substantial amount of sitting and working at a computer station.
